Member of Parliament for Yapei Kusawgu Constituency in the Savannah region, Hon. John Abdulai Jinapor is blaming the Nana Addo led NPP government for the power outages in some parts of the country.
There has been numerous reports of power outages in some parts of the country for days now which the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) say it’s due to some technical challenges.
Several people have complained bitterly about the unannounced power outages and called on the government to address the situation urgently.
Responding to the complaints, the ECG in a statement on Monday, 16th March, 2020 stated that the power outage being experienced in some parts of Accra and other ECG operational areas is due to a technical challenge from GRIDCo.

However, the NDC legislater and former Deputy Minister for Power under the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama administration, Hon. John Abdulai Jinapor believes the government is engaging in Propanga with regards to the power outages.
“If you do propaganda with the Energy Sector, Dumsor will expose you!”. Hon. Jinapor stated on his Facebook page.
He revealed the areas affected by today’s Monday, 16th March, 2020 load shedding as follows ;
Spintex Road, Fon Tissue, Coca Cola Factory, Teshie Nungua, Teshie Greda Estate, Addogonnor, Ghana Telecom, Teshie Nungua, Dar El Salam, Ajorman, Sea Lady, Manna Mission, VRA Flats, Nafti, Kpogas Junction, La Police, La Agyeman, Art Gallery, La Fumey, De-Gaulle Park, Zoomlion, School Junction, Otanor, Affordable Housing, Ashale Botwe Cluster of Schools, Tse Addoman, La Beach Road, Teshie Maami, Printex, Interplast, Trasacco Estate, Adjiriganor, Part of America House, Atomic Commission, Taifa Burkina, Westland, Haatso Amrahia, Little Roses, Ashale Botwe, Commercial Investment and surroundings.
