The World Economic Forum has selected Ghana’s Information Minister and Member of Parliament for Ofuasi Ayiribi in the Ashanti region, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah as Young Global Leader.
The NPP MP is among ten young leaders under the age 40 selected in Africa and 115 young leaders under the age 40 globally.
Each year, the Forum of Young Global Leaders identifies the world’s most promising leaders under the age of 40.
These people drive innovation for positive change across civil society, arts, culture, government and business. By connecting them to a community of remarkable peers and investing further in their leadership abilities, the aim is to create a ripple effect over five years that benefits their organizations and the world.
Meanwhile, the Vice President, His Excellency Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has congratulated Hon. Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah for being selected by the respected World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader.
“It is a fantastic platform to hone your leadership skills and build a stronger resource pool to impact lives. In the words of the WEF you have emerged after a “rigorous process to identify the world’s most promising and compelling leaders under the age of 40”. the Vice-President stated on his Facebook page.
